Grumpy

Today's dwarf is Grumpy... Almost fired someone today, this whole management thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Friction's Fire and Ice is insufficient distraction. An early uber, the characters are just too X&G for my taste. Cat burglar, heiress and a battered women's shelter full of amazons to help true love work out, do not make a convincing story.

Wren to the Rescue by Sherwood Smith, is a fun romp. The characters are likeable and the universe is interesting and well developed. Ms. Smith may have written the first draft of this when she was eight, but it's obviously been re-written and well edited since.
